Hundreds of cystic fibrosis patients become eligible for ‘life-changing’ therapy

Hundreds of people with cystic fibrosis are to be offered a once-a-day pill which has been hailed as “life changing” by health experts.

NICE has given the green light for the NHS to give patients Alyftrek, a modulator therapy which works to tackle the underlying cause of cystic fibrosis (CF).
