Improvements in primary care cancer detection reported

The diagnostic pathway in primary care for cancer patients in England improved between 2015 and 2018, according to a new analysis.

The National Cancer Diagnosis Audit found improvements following publication of the 2015 NICE Guideline for the referral of suspected cancer in primary care.
