Jailed climate activist doctor suspended from medical register

A doctor who received jail time for damaging a petrol station as part of climate change protests has been suspended from the medical register.

Bristol GP Dr Patrick Hart received a 10-month suspension from the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service for his actions at the M25’s Thurrock Services on 24 August 2022, in which he caused £11,000-worth of criminal damage and breached a court injunction.
