King’s Speech: Mental health a priority for new government

The government has pledged to bring in a Mental Health Act “fit for the 21st century”, putting patients at the centre of decisions about their care.

It was one of number of health pledges made during the King's Speech on Wednesday, which have been welcomed by various health leaders and charities.
