A man has been charged with the murder of a GP who was found dead at her home near the Sandringham Estate, Norfolk Police have said.
Dr Hannah Terry, who was 45, was found at her home in Fern Hill, Dersingham, just over one mile from Sandringham Estate.
Mark Cain, 45, of Fern Hill, Dersingham, was arrested after Dr Cain’s body was found in the early hours of 4 October.
A notice on the website of Grimston Medical Centre, where Dr Terry is listed as staff member, says it is “temporarily closed due to extremely difficult circumstances affecting our practice team”.
Terry, also known by her married name Hannah Cain, also ran a business called Norfolk Sky Aesthetics. According to its website she has been a qualified doctor for more than 15 years, and a GP for eight.
She described herself as a “caring and professional doctor” who continued her work as a GP alongside her cosmetics business.
