Maternity taskforce of 17 experts to 'start work straight away' on failings

An expert panel will work “swiftly” to implement the recommendations of a national probe into NHS maternity services as soon as they are published, according to the health secretary.

The group, chaired by the Wes Streeting includes top nurses and midwives, specialist doctors, charity bosses and international experts.
