Medical apprenticeships facing uncertain future

The future of medical apprenticeships in England looks uncertain, as the funding for courses starting in the next financial year is yet to be confirmed.

A review is being carried out by Skills England, an arm’s length body under the Department for Education that was set up under Labour to assess the skills need of the country over the next decade.
