Medical college backs campaign to improve careers of SAS doctors

A campaign calling for better recognition of and support for specialist, associate specialist and specialty (SAS) doctors is gaining momentum - after receiving the backing of the Royal College of Physicians.

The ‘SAS Six’ - presented by the SAS Collective - is a roadmap of six policies focussed on improving career prospects and opportunities for the professional development of doctors outside of formal training programmes.
