Medicine supply shortages are "beyond critical" according to Community Pharmacy England, adding to the burden on GPs and pharmacy teams.

Janet Morrison, chief executive of CPE, said patients with a wide range of clinical and therapeutic needs are being affected "on a daily basis and this is going far beyond inconvenience".
