Moral distress afflicting 'most' GPs

A large number of GPs now report suffering moral distress because of being unable to provide care and a resurgence of avoidable diseases such as scurvy, according to a major new survey.

For GPs, 78% reported suffering moral distress as did 56% of hospital doctors in the survey conducted by the Medical and Dental Defence Union of Scotland (MDDUS).
