MPs are to look at the impact of changes to the recommendations for ‘last resort’ cancer treatments.

The Future Cancer inquiry has received evidence from pharmaceutical companies that changes by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) on the cost-effectiveness of drugs do not sufficiently weight treatments used for advanced cancer.
