Multidisciplinary approach to neuro-rehabilitation recommended by NICE

A standardised, multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation across five major neurological conditions has been recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.

In its new draft guidance NICE said patients affected by conditions such as brain or spinal cord injuries often face inconsistent and variable access to appropriate rehabilitation services.
