‘New approach' to medical training needed following GMC report

A review of post-graduate medical training is needed following a General Medical Council report which shows a rapid increase in international recruitment, the Royal College of Physicians has said.

The college was among a number of organisations expressing concern about the training of doctors in the UK after the Workforce 2024 report from the regulator this week.
