Implementing new contracts to enable GPs to work over larger areas and shifting funding to the community are among priorities outlined in the 10 Year Health Plan.

The NHS plan for England sets out a series of shifts to bring care much closer to people’s homes, reducing the reliance on hospitals and A&E.
