New pill for advanced prostate cancer approved by NICE

A new pill to treat advanced hormone sensitive prostate cancer has been recommended in final draft guidance by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.

Relugolix, also known as Orgovyx and made by Accord, is the first oral treatment of its kind to be approved by NICE for use on the NHS in England and Wales.
