New research institute to advance search for MND cure

A new research institute has been launched to help accelerate the search for a cure for motor neuron disease.

The UK Motor Neuron Disease Research Institute (UK MND RI) brings together a virtual network of MND labs, clinical centres and UK-based researchers, and is co-directed by Professor Chris McDermott from the University of Sheffield and Professor Ammar Al-Chalabi at King’s College London.
