New treatment for drug-resistant advanced prostate cancer being trialled

A new drug being trialled to tackle certain cancers could also benefit patients with advanced prostate cancer whose treatment has stopped working, according to researchers.

A clinical trial is looking at the drug, NXP800, which is similar to chemotherapy and has shown “promising” results in lab studies.
