NHS begins first review into healthcare inequalities for LGBT+ patients

Inequalities in accessing health care for LGBT+ patients across a wide range of NHS services are to be explored in a review.

Health secretary Wes Streeting said he had commissioned the investigation due to the “discrimination and misunderstanding” many patients face.
