NHS meets 4-hour A&E target for first time as overall wait list unchanged

NHS England has met its new 4-hour A&E wait time target for the first time since it was brought in, new data has revealed.

It comes after figures showed the overall waiting list for treatment remained unchanged in July, although waits of more than a year fell to their lowest since December 2020.
