NHS staff spend more time with patients when using AI scribe, study finds

Artificial intelligence-powered scribes allowed NHS clinicians to spend nearly a quarter more of their time with patients, according to a large trial in London.

The technology, which transcribes consultations and produces notes and letters for doctors to review, was tested across nine sites.
