NHS to roll out anti-smoking pill

Patients in England looking to quit smoking will be offered an "improved" 'stop-smoking' pill.

Varenicline has been shown to be as effective as vapes in helping people stop smoking, and have greater success than nicotine-replacement gum or patches, NHS England said.
