NICE recommends earlier access to heart failure drugs combination

Earlier use of a combination of four drugs for heart failure has been recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence.

The draft update to the 2018 heart failure guidelines also states that GPs can now start certain medicines that previously had to be initiated by a specialist.
