Norovirus infections ‘double normal levels’

Norovirus rates in England have reached double the five-year average, according to new data.

Laboratory reports between 30 September and 13 October were twice as high as the five-season average for the same period, new UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) data revealed. Levels were 39% higher than the previous 2-week period.
