Number of common drugs to get additional addiction warnings, say MHRA

A number of commonly used medicines are to be given “strengthened” warning labels about addiction.

Patient information leaflets for the medicines will also have bolstered safety warnings about the risks of addiction and dependency, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) said.
