Credit: Getty Images/sturtiFewer than a third of GPs said they are likely to consider becoming a partner – prompting the Royal College of General Practitioners to warn again that falling numbers could threaten the future of the partnership model.
Constrained budgets, limited ability to recruit staff and having to take on “inadequate” practice buildings were among the reasons that GPs were not keen to take on the role, the college said.
