Physician associates ‘illegally misrepresented’ as doctors in NHS public awareness campaign

Physician associates have been incorrectly labelled as “physicians” in an NHS public awareness campaign about GP practice services, prompting criticism that this is “illegal misrepresentation”.

The It’s a GP Practice Thing campaign, by Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership (BDC partnership), an integrated care board committee, promotes the various roles within local practices that patients may come across.
