Pledge to retain NHS climate change targets

The NHS is set to retain its climate change targets in spite of the government relaxing some of its policies, it has emerged.

Health Secretary Steve Barclay said the NHS target remains at achieving “net zero” by 2045 in response to concerns raised by the Doctors’ Association UK.
