Police probe hospital group over whistleblower allegations

A major hospital is facing a police investigation into dozens of deaths, triggered by allegations made by two consultant surgeon whistleblowers.

An employment tribunal was adjourned last week when it heard that police are now investigating claims made by Mr Krishna Singh, a former clinical director at University Hospital Sussex NHS Trust, the Guardian reported.
