Private funding plans for NHS clinics are 'reckless', warn campaigners

Government contracts worth £6million to explore the use of private funding in NHS community centres have raised concerns about long-term costs to the public purse.

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has awarded two £3 million contracts to management consultants Deloitte and lawyers Addleshaw Goddard to explore the use of public-private partnership (PPP) funding in primary and community infrastructure.
