RCGP to vote on PA scope of practice that allows local discretion

The Royal College of General Practitioners Council is to vote on a scope of practice for physician associates, which could give GP supervisors responsibility for reviewing scope on a case-by-case basis.

Documents associated with Friday’s vote have been leaked ahead of the meeting, with some GPs expressing concern on social media about the content of the proposed scope of practice.
