RCP fellows vote by a majority to limit PA expansion

Five motions relating to the future of physician associate (PA) roles, including limiting their number, have been carried by fellows of the Royal College of Physicians.

They cover scope of practice, accountability, evaluation, the impact on training opportunities, and the pace and scale of the PA rollout until regulation, standards and scope of practice are addressed.
