RCP president asked to step down to give college ‘fresh start’

A group of senior officers of the Royal College of Physicians has asked the president to resign to give the college a “fresh start” at what is a “critical time” for the profession.

In a letter to council colleagues, the group thanked Dr Sarah Clarke for her “hard work” trying to deal with the “challenging issues that have faced the college”.
