Resident doctors in England enter dispute over safe working conditions

Resident doctors in England have voted to go into dispute with the government over “a lack of progress to non-payment elements of the 2024 pay deal”.

A series of strike action came to an end last year when British Medical Association members voted to accept a pay offer from the Labour government.
