Restore doctors’ pay to cut waiting times, BMA tells Labour

Doctors will need to be better paid and properly valued for Labour’s plan to reduce NHS waiting times to succeed, doctors’ leaders have warned.

The British Medical Association and thinktank the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) have both pointed out challenges in delivering Labour’s plans for the NHS if they win July’s general election.
