Royal College of Anaesthetists elects new president

The Royal College of Anaesthetists has elected Dr Claire Shannon, who has been vice president of the college since September 2023, to become its next president from September.

The RCoA, for which Dr Shannon was first elected to the council in March 2018, elects a new president annually.
