Scrap student loan repayments to stop healthcare dropout - think tank

Healthcare staff - including potentially doctors - should have their student debt written off to stop an “NHS dropout crisis”, says the Nuffield Trust.

Its new report calls for a loan forgiveness scheme, following an analysis of how many clinic staff drop out of training or opt for careers outside the NHS.
