'Serious questions raised about the rules' after Dr Benn's suspension

The suspension of a doctor, who was arrested and jailed for her involvement in climate change protests, "raises serious questions about the rules behind the handling of such cases", the British Medical Association has said.

Dr Sarah Benn, a former GP from Birmingham, was arrested several times after taking part in peaceful demonstrations at the Kingsbury oil terminal in Warwickshire in 2022.
