Single RSV jab to protect thousands of premature babies this winter

A single, long-lasting injection to protect premature babies from respiratory syncytial virus is set to be rolled out on the NHS this autumn.

From late September, the health service in England will offer nirsevimab to babies born before 32 weeks.
