Streeting’s NHS reforms 'chaotic and incoherent', think tank warns

Wes Streeting’s reforms to the health service have been undermined by “a chaotic and incoherent approach” a think tank’s report into the government’s progress on NHS targets has found.

The government will struggle to meet its flagship target that 92% of patients should wait no longer than 18 weeks from referral to starting consultant-led treatment of non-urgent health conditions, the Institute for Government (IfG) warned.
