Strikes: Resident doctors told to report intimidation over daily 'welfare check' calls

Some NHS trusts plan to call resident doctors every day during this week’s strikes and ask if they are taking action, the British Medical Association has claimed.

The BMA London region said it has received “multiple reports” that some hospitals in the capital intend to phone doctors daily during the industrial action to carry out “welfare checks”.
