Study ’opens new possibilities’ for assessing gliomas

The first international criteria for standardised imaging of gliomas using amino acid PET have been established.

The work by international research group RANO Group, which is led by MedUni Vienna, Austria, and LMU Munich, Germany, is published in the latest edition of The Lancet Oncology.
