A doctor who had sex on multiple occasions at his GP surgery "during working hours", was found to be "threatening", and to have sent "unsolicited" content to a colleague, is to be erased from the medical register.
A tribunal ruled Dr Thomas Plimmer’s actions amounted to “misconduct “and he will no longer be allowed to practise medicine.
Plimmer, who worked in Swindon, was accused of having sex with multiple women while at work and behaving in an “inappropriate and sexually motivated way” towards a colleague whom he knew was vulnerable.
Documents from the hearing last year, which have just been released, show he faced allegations from several women between May 2018 and February 2021 and was described by the General Medical Council as an "accomplished liar" which the tribunal agreed with.
The Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) found that he had sent unsolicited photos of his penis to a woman whom he met on a dating app.
