Physician associates working at emergency departments at a London trust have been redeployed elsewhere because of changes “in recommendations and guidance from professional bodies”.

Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust confirmed that the four PAs working in its emergency departments (EDs) in its two acute hospitals have been redeployed to “ward-based roles”.
