Waiting list progress announced

The NHS in England and also in Wales is having success in reducing the longest waiting times in spite of the pressures of winter illnesses and industrial action, according to the latest data.

In Northern Ireland, however, there are limited signs of progress and a continuing waiting list “crisis”, doctors said.
