Weight loss drug access expanded to patients with certain conditions in Wales

Patients who need to lose weight quickly because they have a serious medical condition will have access to Mounjaro on the Welsh NHS.

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) will now be prescribed for people waiting for time-sensitive surgery and organ transplants, as well as those seeking fertility treatment.
