Different antidepressants vary widely in their effects on the body, with some leading to substantial changes in weight, blood pressure, and heart rate, according to a large UK analysis.
The review found that some antidepressants led patients to put on up to 2kg in the first two months of treatment, while others resulted in weight loss, in one case of almost 2.5kg.
